In line with the objectives of the Year of Family 2026: Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre Launches Digital Land Purchase Registration Service to Strengthen Family Bonds in Outlying Areas

• ADREC has launched a digital service through the TAMM platform enabling eligible citizens to register requests to purchase land in outlying areas close to their relatives' residences, in line with the objectives of the Year of Family 2026.
• To be eligible, applicants must be citizens of Abu Dhabi, previous beneficiaries of a housing benefit, and must either belong to the area or have a kinship relationship of up to the third degree with one of its residents.
• The fully integrated digital service guides applicants from initial submission through to title registration, with an approved auction mechanism used when multiple eligible applications are received for the same plot.
Abu Dhabi, UAE, 5 August 2026 – The Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC), the custodian and regulator of Abu Dhabi's real estate sector, has launched a new digital service in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority that enables citizens to register requests to purchase land in outlying areas close to their relatives' residences. The fully integrated service is accessible through the Abu Dhabi Government Services platform, TAMM, and has been introduced in alignment with the objectives of the "Year of Family 2026", which aims to strengthen family cohesion and support family stability.
Al Remah in Al Ain City marks the first area where the new service is being implemented, allowing eligible citizens in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to express their interest in purchasing residential plots adjacent to their relatives' homes, subject to approved requirements and regulations.

Our ultimate goal is to empower citizens to navigate their transactions with ease and efficiency from beginning to end."
The application process is conducted entirely through the TAMM platform. Citizens log in using UAE PASS, select their desired plot from available listings, complete an ownership declaration to satisfy eligibility requirements, and provide proof of kinship confirming that a relative resides in the same area. After reviewing the application summary and agreeing to the terms and conditions, applicants submit their request electronically.
Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre reviews each application and verifies compliance with all service requirements, contacting applicants to inform them of the outcome if requirements are not met. When only one eligible application is received for a plot, the purchase process proceeds directly without an auction. In cases where multiple eligible applications are submitted for the same plot, land allocation follows the approved auction mechanism. Upon completion of all sale requirements, the purchase transaction is finalised and the land is registered in the beneficiary's name in the real estate register.

To be eligible for this service, applicants must be citizens of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi who have previously received a housing benefit, whether a land plot or a residence. They must also either belong to the area or have a kinship relationship of up to the third degree with one of its residents. The allocated land is designated solely for personal use and benefit and may not be leased, nor may any residence built on it be rented out. Citizens may use this service only once, and the land may be sold provided that the buyer is from the same area and meets the same eligibility criteria.
